eDhumashi is a digital platform developed by the International Pole and Line Foundation with the support of the Ocean Innovation Challenge by UNDP. It aims to empower Maldivian women in the fishing industry by enabling them to showcase their products to wider audiences. The platform offers a Dhivehi version to eliminate language barriers, making it accessible to Maldivian coastal communities. Beyond digital trade, eDhumashi supports local communities, contributing to ocean conservation and marine resource sustainability. The name "Dhumashi" honors Maldivian fishing heritage and tradition, ensuring its significance for generations to come.
